Job Title: Skilled CNC MachinistLocation: ThetfordSalary: Depends upon experienceTechnique Recruitment Solutions are a specialist Engineering & Manufacturing recruitment company based in Norfolk. We are working with a Thetford based client who specialisein machining and fabricating plastics and Metals.The RoleApplicants should have relevant experience, be reliable, driven and have the working ethic to solve problems and help move the business forward, with the ability to produce quality machined parts, in line with the Companies high standards.Carrying out deburring of machined components during production cycles ensuring minimal disruption to production.Main roles and responsibilities:The ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.Working to tight tolerances.Dynamic and capable of meeting challenging deadlines within a fast paced environment.Competent on all aspects of setting tools, including having an understanding of cutting speeds and feeds.Ideally with experience programming, setting and operating HAAS and HURCO machines, using ONECNC software working on varied types of work using different materials including plastic and stainless with a variety of batch sizes, predominantly small batch work Working on 3 and 4 axisHours of WorkMonday to Thursday 8.30am - 5pmFridays 08.30 - 3pm Requirements:Have experience setting, operating and programming CNC Mills Experience running multi axis CNC milling machines.Be a competent communicator, both verbal and writtenAble to use measuring equipment.
