Reed are working with a well-established manufacture based in Norfolk, who have been operating for over 40 years as part of a family business, recruiting for the exciting position ofNational Sales Manager.Wearelooking for a tenacious, entrepreneurial and dedicated Sales professional to join a progressive team and drive business forward within this successful organisation.You will have hands-on management and growth of a portfolio of retail, wholesale & ecommerce accounts, promotingsales of the company product ranges - branded and private-label.Core hours of Monday to Friday 9am-5pm (flexibility incl.hybrid working and field-based sales activity)Responsibilities• Management of a portfolio of customers to meet and exceed targets• Representing the UK Group’s portfolio of products, be the product champion for the company• Represent the company at exhibitions with energy &enthusiasm, building connections and securing new business opportunities• Formulate account strategies and plans to secure company targets.• Develop joint business plans with efficient and effective investment to support growth. Drive negotiations for new listings, price, promotions, and distribution, managing the promotional budget.• Development of exceptional multi-level customer relationships across all departments.• Proactively seek out new business opportunities and growth across branded and private label product development.• Interrogate ongoing monthly performance, deliver clear insight and action to influence forward performance.• Ensure accurate internal communication to supply team regarding promotions or changes to distribution, maintain up to date customer records.• Cross functional working with Group departments and develop a very good product knowledge.Background & Skills• Minimum of 2-3 yearsyears national account management or business developmentexperience within FMCG.• Customer focused, excellent client relationship management at all levels, including mid to senior level contacts• Entrepreneurial self-starter who can build a sales plan, set their own targets and efficiently organise work schedule, to maximise customer relations and manufacturing resource capacity• Proven track-record of meeting targets and objectives within existing accounts and developing new business.• Excellent rapport building, influencing and negotiation at all levels.• Great with number-crunching, analysing and reporting to review trends, successes and maximise revenue opportunities.• Ability to prepare and present professional sales proposals to win business.• Strong financial/commercial understanding together with intellect and curiosity to interpret performance and recommend action.• Comfortable managing varied-sized accounts with ability to develop strong and robust commercial relationships.• Enthusiasm to chase new business and foresight to monitor upcoming tenders.• Able to work to challenging deadlines in a changing environment• Excellent communication skills both written and oral.Package• Salary £40,000-£55,000 (negotiable on experience)• Bonus based on performance.• Fully Expensed Company Car• Health Insurance• Health Insurance• Company pension scheme• 25 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays• Discount on group productsPlease apply online with your updated CV as soon as possible if you’re interested in this fantastic opportunity or share with someone you know who may be interested.Thank you
