This key role will be part of a team of multi skilled engineers on shift to provide and deliver predictive and reactive maintenance to all aspects of the production process including mechanical, electrical andprocess control systems.The Maintenance engineer will be responsible for the maintenance, carrying out scheduled tasks and effectively reacting to breakdowns and requests maintaining the business priority at all times. They will be resourceful and will identifyand implement value improvement opportunities and will be a key technical resource in a high volume, highly regulated, healthcare operation. You will be working a 4 shift pattern of 06:00-18:00 & 18:00-06:00.Duties Be capable of effectively identifying prioritiesand proactively resolving complex technical issues by direct intervention and teamwork. Must also be thorough, accurate and persevering rather than expedient.Proactively identify opportunities for improving and optimizing manufacturing processes, coveringkey business indicators, production and conversion loss objectives, quality reviews, preventive and predictive maintenance.Be part of a centralized Maintenance team operating in a plant environment reporting to the Production Maintenance Lead.Highly motivatedand results driven with good interpersonal skillsHelp develop additional daily and weekly checks on processes to identify shifts in machine performance that may result in a leaks or a drop in OEE. Amalgamate these with pre-flight checks / daily walk aroundchecks and a TPM system.Implement process improvement projectsWork with Subject Matter Expert to understand what is needed and provide support.Must be capable of good confident and reasonably articulate communicator in written and spoken word.Must be professional,helpful and courteous in the performance of duties and maintain good working relationships with colleagues.Drive through process improvements through continuous improvements across the team / shift.Expand the knowledge base of craft by identifying trainingneeds on the shift and both directly and indirectly provide this training.Be flexible in approach and availability to support the team and be a good coach and mentor.ExperienceCompetency in PLC operation and philosophy, hardware and SoftwareExperience withSchematics wiring and circuitry.Experience with Automation, and robotics is an advantage.Working knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems.Experience of working in a validated environment, with validation document experience.Competency in IT hardware troubleshootingand repair.Excellent communication skills#IND-UKOPSReasonable AccommodationsBaxter is committed to working with and providing reasonable accommodations to individuals with disabilities.
