Job Description

A leading, award-winning Tour Operator are recruiting for their operations team, supporting Travel Agents with post-booking queries and tasks. As an Operations Support Executive you will be part of a team that is the point of contact for Travel Agents forthe servicing existing bookings. Working from offices near Manchester (hybrid working available after training) this is an excellent time to join an established successful travel company, who continue to expand and are known for their great benefits and careerprogression. Salary package is highly competitive, excellent basic (negotiable/dependent on experience), 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, health care, pension, bonus and more!JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Acting as a brand ambassador to provide professional and world class customer service to your Travel Agents
  • Supporting Travel Agents to secure new bookings, including manual pricing
  • Managing voluntary and involuntary changes to existing bookings
  • Assisting with booking cancellations
  • Being a first point of call for in house system queries
  • Contributing to team discussion around process improvement
  • Supporting Travel Agents to adopt new ways of working and tools available
  • Flexibility to cover shifts: 0800-1630, 0900-1730 or 10.30-1900 and 1 in 4 Saturdays with a day off in the week
  • Hybrid working available after training.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:If you have experience within the Travel Industry in an aftersales, support or operational role, this is an amazing company to join and progress your career with.   • Energetic, motivating and positive individual
  • Knowledge of dealing with operational enquiries and in resort issues
  • Proficient in MS Office products including Excel and Outlook
  • Ability to work across different contact channels at the same time, such as email, telephone and live chat
  • Strong organisational and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism while working with both internal and external customers
  • Must be accountable and be able to work with minimal supervision to fully resolve customer queries
  • Ability to take ownership and deliver a resolution
  • Ability to work at pace
  • Strive in a high-pressure environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a flair for customer service
THE PACKAGE:Starting salary is £24k pa dependent on experience and there is an extensive benefits package including: 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, health care, pension, bonus and more!
