Job Description

This position is available for immediate interview via Zoom or similar with the employer being able to confirm a start date as soon as the lockdown is lifted and their client base is able to re-open. Before applying for the post, the employer has specified that you will need the following qualifications as a minimum:

  • NVQ Level 3 Heating & Ventilation Installation (or equivalent);
  • Commercial Gas Qualifications - COCN1, TPCPN1 & 1A, CIGA, CORT, CENWAT, ICPN - these are essential
  • CSCS Skill card (Engineer) & H&S Awareness;
  • SPA, IPAF & PASMA
  • Full driving licence (6 points max) and fine with travel
    • An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Commercial Heating Engineer based in the Manchester region to work primarily within 2 hours of home, but who is willing to work nationally with the occasional few days away from home roughly once a quarter. Ideally you will have experience servicing and maintaining a range of commercial boilers and heating equipment within primarily hotel and catering sites such as restaurant chains and lodges.Due to the nature of the client base, any experience you have of working with catering equipment will be useful while having your LPG certification will be an advantage, but not essential as the company is willing to help you obtain it.The salary on offer is dependent on experience (starting from £30k+) with travel time paid door to door, a van (that can be used for private use) and other benefits.
