Job Description

National Business Development ManagerJob Title: Business Development ManagerSalary: NegotiableLocation: NationalSector / Industry: ChemicalJob Reference: LM2904CCIm currently recruiting for an opportunity for someone to join a worldwide chemical manufacturer and distributor. This is the ideal role for somebody who wants their ideas to be heard and to have the freedom to develop different markets across a wide range of products. Someone who is entrepreneurial and looking for a role without restrictions will do great here.The main purpose of the role will be to account manage existing contracts for the business and add to these accounts from business development. The role will involve travel on an overseas basis occasionally as well as UK wide..Package Details:

  • Negotiable
  • Company car, phone, laptop and bonus
    • Key Responsibilities:
  • Attending appointments to discuss the products and services the company can offer to clients
  • Developing existing key accounts
  • Self-generate appointments with new clients
  • Listen to the needs of customers to establish new products that the business could branch into
    • Required Skills & Experience:
  • Experience in a business development role from the chemical sector specifically water treatment, metal work, lubricants or personal care would have an advantage
  • Technical knowledge of their chemical field of expertise either from education or work related
  • Have managed a budget of at least £2m annually
