Job Description

About the roleKerry is searching for a Supply Chain Planner for our Supply Chain Department in Tenbury Wells. The successful candidate will work with the wider supply chain team, warehouse and both internal / external customers to ensure requirements are met on time andin full.The Supply Chain Planner will have a dual role in ensuring requirements are met covering both production planning and raw material call off activities.What will I be doing

  • Perform an achievable work schedule (define the sequence of the planned orders, setup campaigns, include change-over and cleaning, convert planned orders to process orders)
  • Be accountable for ensuring system Production Planning alerts are responded to and resolved in a timely manner.
  • Create and edit process orders for approved rework, approved replacement of components
  • Provide checks that the master data quality is maintained and updated at regular intervals
  • In conjunction with business systems, reports and production schedules, ensure the timely arrival / placement / confirmation of purchase orders with suppliers and STO’s for intercompany transfers.
  • Liaise with site supply chain teams to confirm quantities, management of purchase orders and call-off quantities.
  • Liaise with warehouse or 3PL to deal with goods inwards issues – shortages, damages, documentation issues etc.
  • Manage inventory levels against target/budget, and take action to mitigate stock at risk of write-off
  • Supporting accounts payable on invoice queries/issues.
  • Supply forecasts to purchasing for tender building.
  • Maintain and review raw material stock levels with view to maximize cash flow and meet agreed targets
This role will initially be on-site-full in Tenbury Wells on a full-time basis. What do I need to be successfulIn Kerry we understand that people have very different career trajectories and experiences. To be successful in this role, we would be looking for;
  • Knowledge of ERP Systems (SAP is advantageous)
  • The successful candidate will possess the ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
  • Previous experience and a good understanding of production scheduling
  • Effective communication skills.
  • The individual must possess excellent computer skills (Excel / Word / PowerPoint)
  • Must be professional with an outgoing and friendly disposition.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both written and verbal with a variety of internal contacts.
