Job Description

Our well established client based in Dover are looking for an Experienced Transport Planner to join their team as they continue to meet the demanding needs of their clients.If you are a Transport Planner with experience of planning routes ideally across the UK & Europe then please contact me today. You will be an excellent communicator, used to working under pressure and have outstanding customer service skills.Duties & Responsibilities

Undertake the daily planning of a number of vehicles, involving meeting timed deliveries as required by clients and finding suitable reloads

Organising shipments, booking them onto sailings and ensuring the operations run smoothly

Responsible for providing new quotes and also managing existing clients expectations

Manage and support colleagues with maintenance/repair schedule for vehicles through schedules and cost management

Answering calls, emails and correspondence

IT literate - as you will be required to use a variety of company systems and spreadsheets

In return you will be offered a generous salary with benefits 20 days holiday (plus bank holidays) hours of work are Monday - Friday 08.00-17.00 and real opportunities to progress within the company.
