We are looking for a motivated Toolroom Engineer with previous experience in a similar role. This is an opportunity to join our client, Britains number 1 professional power tool manufacturer based in Telford.As Toolroom Engineer, you will provide a comprehensive Toolroom service for the in-house manufacture of new and replacement parts covering new projects (concept parts) and refurbishment of equipment across the site, while improving and standardising the designof new and existing jigs/fixtures and general equipment.Skills and Experience* Can demonstrate proven working experience within a toolroom environment* Have good knowledge of toolroom machinery including lathes, milling machines, surface grinding, cylindrical grinding and bench work* Capable of understanding complex engineering drawings and able to undertake a variety of tasks at one time without the need for supervision* Hold a relevant qualification such as City & Guilds in mechanical manufacture and ideally an ONC/HNC in mechanical / production engineering* The ability to create engineering drawings with CAS softwareHoursMon to Thurs 8am to 17.15pm & Fri 8am to 12pm.Benefits* 23 days annual leave plus bank holidays* Life Assurance Cover* Pay-care Health Cash Plan* Subsidised restaurant* Access to onsite medical advice* Power Tools staff discount* Free onsite parking* Significant career development and progression opportunitiesIf you like the sound of this role and think you fit the above description, then we want to hear from you!
