Job Description

Jonathan Lee Recruitment is working with a well-established manufacturing business in Telford, Shropshire, to recruit a Quality Technician for their team. This full-time role offers a starting salary of up to £25,500 per annum (dependent on experience) anda wide range of benefits.The hiring manager is looking for someone who has experience with using a Shadow graph, previous 2D CAD experience would be highly advantageous.Working within a busy manufacturing environment, you will be responsible for carrying out first off inspection of manufactured components, checking the parts against technical drawings, addressing any quality issues with the manufacturing department, andensuring that all components meet the required customer standard. This is a day shift role, Monday through Friday (39 hours per week).To give you an idea of how this Quality Technician role will look and feel, here are some areas you can expect to work in:

Provide feedback on product quality issues to the manufacturing team
Work within a small team within the quality department
Ensure that products meet the required customer specifications
Use measuring equipment, including shadow graphs, gauges, and verniers
Keep an accurate record of data and correspondence ahead of daily meetings with the management team

Previous Quality Inspection experience
Knowledge of shadow graphs

Experience with 2D CAD
