Job Description

Finance Business Partner | Telford area | Permanent |up to £32-£40,000 DOE + excellent benefits Fantastic opportunity for an AAT / CIMA / ACCA studier to gain exposure to both management and financial accounting within a fast-paced businessThe Company Seymour John are thrilled to be working with our Telford based client to hire a Finance Business Partner into the Finance Team.The OpportunityYou will be responsible for the management accounts preparation, budgeting and forecasting, where your main duties will include:

  • Prepare weekly profit and loss
  • Preparation and reconciliation financial accounts information
  • Annual budget preparation, alongside monitor performance against budget
  • Act as business partner to the business unit management team
  • Cost center analysis for month end
  • Accruals and prepayments
  • Prepare balance sheet reconciliations
  • Preparation of quarterly VAT returns
  • Support with the year end audit
Personal ProfileWe are keen to speak to candidates who are looking for their first move into a business partnership role. You will be self-motivated, studying AAT or AAT qualified or studying for CIMA/ACCA. You will be confident communicator who is focussed on deliverya quality stakeholder service, alongside prior experience of using ERP systems with decent excel skills.
