The residents live with learning disabilities, epilepsy, and/or autism and may display some associated behaviours.We are searching for Support Workers who share our belief that disability is not a barrier, and it doesn’t have to stop our residents from living their best life and enjoying new and varied experiences.Salary & Benefits:

Company and Role:
  • Residential home for Children & Young People, accommodating up to 6 residents.
  • The home prides itself on being rated Good in all areas by OFSTED.
  • The conditions the residents live with include a range of learning disabilities, epilepsy, and autism.
  • Many of the residents are non-verbal or have limited communication and will communicate through different methods, including picture boards, Smartbox devices and Makaton.
  • Some personal care may be involved, in addition to companionship, taking part in celebrations, events, fundraising, and other ways of interacting with the local community.
Successful Applicant:
  • Ideally, be able to drive but not essential (a company car will be provided during work hours).
  • Experience working within the care sector
  • Able to work unsociable hours (evenings, nights, and weekends).
