Job Description

Here at Westray we are working with a long-standing client to recruit a Web Developer to join their dedicated team of professionals working on a growing portfolio of e-commerce stores.The role is best suited to someone who is keen to hit the ground running with in-house web development projects, which usually include a mix of new features, improvements and bug fixes as well as bigger projects. Youll be maintaining the current portfolioof e-commerce stores and also be involved in longer term projects that will help the company grow.The Company

Main Duties
  • Implementing new features and fixing bugs for the current portfolio of e-commerce stores
  • Building bespoke modules or advise on off-the-shelf alternatives
  • Providing estimates for scope of work
  • Carrying out stringent testing on all sites and projects ensuring effective functionality is maintained
  • Using industry insight and initiative to discover new ways to improve the current website portfolio
  • Providing support for the in-house team with web development queries and troubleshooting current stores portfolio

You will work at the company head office based in the Team Valley. Hours are 9am-5pm, Monday to Friday. Overtime is offered but is never a requirement.We are looking for someone who has ideally has 2/3 years of experience working in a commercial environment and Git/Bitbucket account with examples of your work. If you are self-motived with excellent coding standards and methodologies, with great communicationand organisational skills, want to work for a fantastic forward-thinking company we want to hear from you. In return we can offer a salary of up to £40,000 per annum.COVID-19 ConsiderationsWe are now working from the office, so interviews will be held in person.
