Job Description

Our client, a leading and growing technology solutions company, are looking to hire somebody to be Telecoms Helpdesk Support. This will be on a full-time permanent basis. This role is full time office based in Gateshead.The purpose of this role is to provide excellent customer service and be first point of contact for all Telecoms related helpdesk issues. You will have a very important role to ensure all issues are resolved or escalated within a set SLA.Key responsibilities of the Telecoms Helpdesk Support:

  • Logging all incoming tickets
  • Assist, diagnose and resolve faults with network services, internet access and both cloud and on-premise telephone systems
  • Acting as 1st line support for all Telecoms queries
  • Prioritising support tickets in accordance with companys set SLAs
  • Monitoring the Customer Service email inbox and escalate any complex calls to the relevant support team member.
Key skills of the Telecoms Helpdesk Support:
  • Previous 1st line support experience
  • Ideally Telecoms experience
  • Self-starter, who can hit the ground running
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Previous experience meeting and exceeding team and personal KPIs
