Team Lead Refrigeration & AC Engineer - Facilities - Newcastle - £40-48k (DOE)About the Company We are working with an established maintenance and Installation organisation, who works UK wide with Clients undertaking Installation works.Due to growth and winning additional new contracts nationally, we are looking for a further two Refrigeration/ AC Engineers for their growing team based remotely across Tyne and Wear. The role is mobile and requires five days a week working away from home, conducting installation works on Refrigeration and AC equipment, nationwide including the Republic of Ireland.Team Lead Refrigeration & AC Engineer - The Rewards* Salary Negotiable - 40,000 to 48,000* Company Van and Fuel Card* Expenses allowance whilst working away* Accommodation paid for when working away* All travel time paid for Monday - Friday* Benefits Package * Holidays, 24 days + your birthday off (25)Team Lead Refrigeration & AC Engineer - Job RoleWorking under the instruction of the Project delivery department, the position will consist of but may not be entirely limited to the following...* Installation of DX Cooling systems, including: Computer Room Air-Conditioning, Split Systems, VRF and Cellar Cooling Systems* All aspects of refrigeration including low temperature* Chilled Water Installations* Materials take off from design drawings for various projects including liaison with suppliers* Supervision of sub-contract trades including builders, ductwork contractors and any other specialist contractors required on a project-by-project basis* Carry out point of work Risk Assessments and Method Statements for work you will be undertaking or managing on site* Carry out site inductions, management and supervision for all trades working for UNG on sites* Maintain high level of Health and Safety on site* Adherence to the SSOW for both Mechanical and Electrical installationsTeam Lead Refrigeration & AC Engineer - Requirements* Refrigeration qualification e.g. C&G, CITB, BESA* Site health and safety course e.g. CSCS/SSSTS* High standard of installation and understanding of the industry safety environment, pressures etc* Knowledge on asbestos awareness and procedures* Ability to understand design schemes and technical documentation for plant* Good communication skills* Reliable and punctual* Experience working as a team, managing a team and working independently* Ability to work away from home* Flexible and able to maintain calm under pressureThis role would suit a Team Lead Refrigeration Engineer, Refrigeration engineer, HVACR engineer, Multiskilled Engineer, Senior Refrigeration Engineer, or Lead Engineer.We require more than one Engineer and as such all applicants will be contacted and offered an initial interview should they meet the criteria above.About UsDetail2Recruitment acts as an employment agency in respect of this position.
