Job Description

GCU are a specialised contractor that work in Partnership with CityFibre, currently recruiting in the Scotland to help the 5G roll out. They are looking for a Project Administrator to work in their Gateshead Office.As a project administrator you role will be to assist the Project Planning Team by carrying out the various administrative duties needed to allow Operations to deliver the program to plan and in accordance with statutory requirement.The role of administrator requires attention to detail and organisation. Work shall be completed as shown by the Project Planner and in accordance with all necessary system requirements. Every member of staff may contribute to the production of new/ moreefficient working practices. GCU Project Planning Team aim is to ensure that work scopes are appropriately planned and communicated meeting internal resourcing, NSRWA91 and client requirements.Key Responsibilities:- Updating the client/Local Authority/GCU on the resource whereabouts for the next day- Uploading all safe digs to Depot net and issuing it to the relevant Gang- Preparing documentation to meet all TTRO conditions i.e., Printing, Laminating- Assisting the As built Engineer to upload completed As built documents- Creating tube test sheets for test teams- Assisting the noticing team by printing and issuing their dims sheets- Requesting PU Prints from 3rd party utility owners- Compiling the info required to create Depot net ReportYou will needProficient use of Microsoft Office - including Microsoft ExcelStrong written and verbal communication skillsAble to work to a deadlineNo specific industry experience is required for the roleShould this position be of interest, apply now or get in touch for more details
