Job Description

Established in 1990, Medacs is the largest provider of locum doctors to the NHS, and the only specialist staffingagency awarded a place on every national framework.Medacs Global Group is currently recruiting for an Office Manager to work onsite in the Gateshead offices. You must have a driving licence with access to you own car as travelling to other sites will be required in this role.The role is based within a Disability Assessment centre for Personal Independence Payment (PIP) To achieve the smooth and efficient running of the office and assist the Operations Manager in achieving business KPIs and SLAs.Heres some of the key responsibilities:

  • To manage the day to day activities of the offices and admin staff in Gateshead
  • To ensure smooth running of all contracts
  • Book assessment slots for Clinicians
  • Input all holidays and sickness
  • Ensure that all KPIs and SLAs are achieved in line with contracts
  • Attend client meetings when required
  • Produce daily MI
  • Report on all incidents
  • Check all invoices to make sure all payments are correct and in line with what has been agreed. Ensure the reception area is tidy and presentable with appropriate literature on display
  • Provide cover for other offices, as required.
  • General administrative duties e.g.: Using Microsoft Office packages such as Excel and other bespoke IT systems
Essential Requirements:
  • Customer service and Managerial experience
  • A full clean driving licence and car
  • Excellent Oral/Written Skills
  • Negotiating Skills
