Job Description

REED Engineering are delighted to be recruiting for an experiencedNDT Technician on behalf of a well-established engineering businesswho are based in the Middlesbrough area. To be considered in this role you must have experience in NDT of in-process andfinished machined components and high integrity fabrication welds.As Welder, some of your key duties will include:

  • Perform NDT on machined and welded parts to meet customer specifications, with PCN level 2 or higher in MPI, LPI and UT (3.1 / 3.2)
  • Apply NDT methods (MPI, LPI and UT (3.1 / 3.2)) to check machined and welded components for quality and compliance, with PCN level 2 or more qualifications
  • Inspect machined and welded parts using NDT techniques (MPI, LPI and UT (3.1 / 3.2)), with at least PCN level 2 credentials, and write technical NDT reports
  • Use NDT skills (MPI, LPI and UT (3.1 / 3.2)) with PCN level 2 or above to examine machined and welded parts for customer specifications and produce NDT reports
  • Conduct NDT on machined and welded components using MPI, LPI and UT
