The Hosting Engineer - Server/Storage is a key contributor to the build and run operations of Hosting services for Matthews. This role will define and monitor server/storage policies, architecture and standards. This position is responsible for consulting, reviewing and approving server/storage solutions, as well as executing the implementation of projects, upgrades and continuous improvement for hosting services. The Hosting Engineer - server/storage will also drive the provision and maintenance of server/storage and drive analysis, and the resolution of major hosting hardware and software incidents/problems in a timely and accurate fashion.The role requires someone who is strong in Servers, Hosting and Project Management.Skills required include;* 5+ years of previous experience in Hosting [MW1]environments performing administration, design, planning and implementation preferred.* Experience in emerging technologies such as Nasuni, Nutanix, is a significant plus* Industry Standard certifications such as MCSA preferred.* Ability to travel as necessary.* Knowledge of current technical protocols and standards.* Experienced with Standard IT delivery and process models such as ITIL, COBIT, etc. Required skills
