* Finance Business Partner working for a charity delivering critical services* Hybrid working 2 -3 days per week from the offices based in the North East* A broad and varied Finance Business Partnering roleWho youll be working forYou really care about people and making sure they are able to live their lives to the fullest and want to use your finance skills and experience to support those people caring for, supporting and teaching to be able to provide the best possible support whilstalso providing excellent value for money for the charity. The role - Finance Business PartnerYou are someone who is as comfortable interacting with a range of different people at different levels as you are in getting stuck into the production of management reports.You want a role where you can develop yourself and really add value making finance meaningful to the non finance budget holders you will be collaborating with and you will be proud to combine your finance skills with social good.Youll be engaged by balancing the charitable objectives and outcomes with the finance agenda.What youll be doing:You will work to support a range of key stakeholders with financial insights and analysis, enabling informed decisions to drive the charity forward.You will have well-developed communication skills coupled with proven financial and analytical abilities; these will help you to form productive partnerships with managers and leaders.You will develop a passion for our business, and a strong commitment to the charitys corporate values and to those they support. Across the course of your role your key areas of focus will include: financial analysis and forecasting, contributing to monthly reporting frameworks, developing the management information function by designing and producing reports for decision-making, assistingthe statutory accounts process through the formal audit and through the implementation of regular control functions, assisting the annual budget process, reviewing the operational performance and providing informed insights for improvement, supporting andshaping the business by providing accurate and informed financial modelling and analysis and managing stakeholder relationships through evidence-based challenge, and innovation.What youll need to offer:As an experienced finance business partner youll be a qualified accountant (CIMA/ACA/ACCA or equivalent) and will have honed your Finance Business Partner experience and be looking to use great communication and interpersonal skills to interact with budgetholders as the face of the finance team.Youll have proven experience in using financial systems, data handling, and Microsoft Office, specifically the Advanced Excel analysis and products.You will have a proven commitment to team working and you have a proven ability to work under pressure.You may be a high performing management accountant who undertakes business partnering activities and are looking to take the next step in their career or someone who is already operating as a Finance Business Partner, but looking for a new challenge in an interestingenvironment.Ideally youll have previous experience gained within a Social or Health Care or Education sector, but any relevant commercial sector experience would also be considered.Whats in it for you:As a package many of the best perks of this role are those you cant put a price on:* Pleasant office environment with parking and close to a Metro station and other public transport links and an ongoing commitment to hybrid working so for 2 - 3 days per week* The positive sense of purpose that the work you do will all contribute to the charitable outputs and objectives* A 35 hour working week as standard, of course being in a management role within finance will mean occasional longer days, but this is an organisation where you arent continuously obliged to work overtime on a weekly basis.* A disability confident employer* A salary of c£50,000 - £55,000 depending upon relevant experience* Immediate start available
