Position: Embedded Software EngineerSalary: Up to £55,000Location of Office: NewcastleThe Role: A new role has now created for an Embedded Software Engineer to join an industry leading instrumentation design and develop company in their Newcastle based offices. The successful Embedded Engineer will be joining a small, growingteam and have the chance to take a lead on all aspects related to embedded software, working towards the development of a new generation of products whilst upgrading an existing product line.This is the chance for an Embedded Engineer to be involved from initial concept all the way through to prototype and in house manufacture. Your skills set will be based around embedded software design and you will be particularly strong coding in C for arange of RTOS environments (Threadx desired), be comfortable working on a range of microcontrollers (Renesas desired) and have good experience with a host of comms protocols including USB, SPI, I2C, UART etc. Any experience with Python scripting or wirelesscomms (BLE, Wi-Fi, GPS etc) will really make your CV stand out.In this role the successful Embedded Engineer will take on a varied and challenging role with the chance to make a real impact in new product developments, our client has a clear 5 year roadmap of exciting, innovative new products and are looking for anengineer to lead the embedded software elements of these products.Our client is well established in their sector with a proven history of delivering innovative, reliable products to the market. All design, development and manufacturing is done onsite in Newcastle and their products are used around the globe.Skills Required:
