About usLooking to take the next step in marketing Want the chance to work on exciting projects with the opportunity to develop and grow your career Were looking for self-motivated team of digital marketing executives to join our fast-growing marketing departmenthere at Vertu Motors.As a digital marketing executive, you will work in the website squads delivering a mix of digital marketing disciplines such as: marketing automation, conversion rate optimisation or data and data and insights to the rest of the squad.These roles provide opportunities to work across our portfolio of brands (including Bristol Street Motors, Vertu Motors, Vans Direct and Macklin Motors), and provide learning experiences across digital marketing skill sets. This is an exciting opportunity forcolleagues to make their mark, influence and contribute directly to the success of the team and business.About the RoleVertu Motors are committed to providing customers with an easy, enjoyable, and personalised experience when looking for their next vehicle. As the business is going through a digital transformation, we are investing heavily in our marketing team, who are dedicatedto optimising our customers experience, delivering online sales and lead generation.Tasks will include some of the below

  • Deliver transactional communication across the email, SMS and other CRM channels that arise from or cross website traffic
  • Development and monitoring of multiple nurture programs, conducting regular reviews and analysis to help ensure leads progress through the sales funnel
  • Delivery of A/B testing campaigns to identify the best performing setups
  • Integrating campaign activity with our CRM and Performance marketing
  • Running of analytics (dashboards, reports) to measure the effectiveness of all channels used
  • Data-led optimisation of campaigns and campaign assets to improve ROI, using Segment analytics suite and GA to report on the effectiveness of our marketing campaigns
  • Help to implement new product features to enhance our customer data platform functionality
  • Working collaboratively with other departments to ensure automated campaigns achieve company goals
  • Supporting the development our attribution strategy through analytics Investigating and assessing customer behaviour across the group websites, identifying pain points
  • Understand and gain insight from channel attribution and where the pain points are.
  • Measure performance and be measured against KPIs. Example metrics include: Click-Through Rates - the proportion of the audience who clicked on one or more links (email or Ad) contained in a lead nurturing email message, Campaign success rates - the percentageof campaign members who completed a desired action (downloaded content, attended an event, filled a form, etc.), Time to Customer Conversion - the length of time it takes for a lead to become a customer, Cost per Customer - the marketing cost of acquiringa new customer and Digital product conversion rates
Collaboration
  • Work closely with the Web Squad leads to prioritise work within the broader business context
  • Work closely with other central teams such as Performance marketing and CRM teams to identify and deliver customer acquisition and retention opportunities
Knowledge
  • Develop a basic and practical understanding of FCA guidance on treating customers fairly and not causing detriment.
  • Embrace learning: Develop and grow your marketing technical knowledge
  • Share knowledge, experiences, and best practice within the team.
  • Stay abreast of the latest thinking, trends, tools, and technology.
About YouIs this you Do you have any of these
  • Previous marketing automation experience, Conversion rate conversion or/and Website data analytics
  • 2 years of proven expertise of the marketing mix, in particular retargeting and email campaigns promoting content, events, and other calls-to-action
  • Experience in planning and executing campaigns to drive leads through the sales funnel
  • Analytical and numbers driven mind-set
  • Appreciation of how to segment databases to create audience specific campaigns
  • To have an analytical and agile approach to learning
  • Excellent planning and communication skills
  • Proactive at recommending and implementing new initiatives to generate and nurture leads
  • Collaborative and driven to support the bigger picture success of the team as a whole
  • A Bachelors degree in a marketing, analytics, or business-related field
  • An ability to interpret data and generate meaningful insight to create solutions and actions
  • Proven project management skills
  • An ability to understand best in class practices from the motor and other industries and adapt and apply them to Vertu
  • Good presentation skills
