Job Description

Reed Accountancy & Finance are delighted to be working with a well-established business in South Tyneside who are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable and Receivable Manager to join their team on a permanent basis.Your duties will include, but not limited to:

  • Lead and Manage the Companys accounts payable, accounts receivable and treasury functions.
  • Direct management of parts and service debtors including credit and trade references.
  • Liaising with stakeholders to resolve queries or complaints or complaints effectively.
  • Carry out appraisals on all members of the team and manage their development.
  • Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders on a regular basis.
  • Ensure all administrative procedures are correctly adhered to.
  • Production of working capital reporting on a monthly and ad-hoc basis.
  • Ensure finance processes and procedures are in place and kept up to date.
  • Ensuring training records are kept up to date.
  • Management of Companys reception, visitor acceptance and national call handling functions.
  • Ensure accurate financial records are maintained in line with legislative and HCM document retention requirements.
You will have:
  • Experience in a similar role.
  • Strong communication, change management and stakeholder engagement success.
  • Ability to lead a team and influence effective leadership across functions.
  • Excellent time management skills, a forward thinker with the capability to plan ahead.
  • Ability to work under pressure, with the aptitude to think on your feet.
  • Excellent IT skills, being proficient with applications such as MS Office, Excel.
  • Remains focused when faced with competing demands.
