Mechanical Design Engineer - Remote Working - Potential Long Term ProjectsWe are working with a company who design and build the most sustainable electric motors from their facility in the UK. The organisation specialise in delivering electric powertrain technologies to world markets.The company supply to a range of markets including the automotive sector. Working with manufacturers across, heavy commercial vehicles, passenger vehicles and off highway vehicles.We are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join the team on a contract basis, working remotely.You will produce mechanical designs, primarily 2D drawings and 3D models of electrical components, cables, harness routing and drawings of harness support structures for a variety projects.A great opportunity to be involved in modern technologies, working for a growing organisation.If you have the following experience:Design of Powertrain & Drivetrain partsCatia, Autodesk Inventor ExperienceExperience with Cast or Machined Components, Sheetmetal and Piping & Cable DesignAbility to support design analysis activitiesKnowledge of Automotive (or related industry) Electrical systemsGood communication skillsStrong planning and organisation skillsSelf-motivated with drive and initiativeThen apply or get in touch.Work on interesting and future projects - Play a key part in addressing climate change
