We are looking for a passionate Software Developer to join our small, but growing team.Role Overview:As a Software Developer at Priceworx® you will be at the forefront of developing and implementing software solutions to drive our SaaS offerings forward. You will collaborate with a team of talented engineers, data scientists, and product managers to buildscalable and robust systems.We’re about to embark on an exciting new project that leverages AI to predict future labour and material cost increases/ decreases.Key Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain web applications using NodeJS, VueJS, and general JavaScript.- Work on NoSQL databases with a focus on Firebase, MongoDB, or equivalent technologies.- Engage in the full software development lifecycle, from concept to deployment and maintenance.- Collaborate with Data Engineers and Data Scientists to integrate various data-driven technologies and insights.- Continuously learn and implement new technologies within the Google Cloud Platform stack, including Cloud Functions, IAM, and Storage.- Contribute to team discussions on software architecture, development processes, and best practices.Required Qualifications:- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in software development with a focus on NodeJS, VueJS, and JavaScript.- Proven experience with NoSQL databases, preferably FirebaseFirestore or MongoDB.- Familiarity with the principles and practices of SaaS platform development.- Strong understanding of software development methodologies and lifecycle.Preferred Qualifications:- Experience with Google Cloud Platform services such as Cloud Functions, IAM, and Storage.- Python programming experience and the ability to work alongside Data Engineers and Scientists.- Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new technologies and frameworks.Personal Attributes:- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think algorithmically.- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.- A proactive mindset with a willingness to take initiative and drive projects forward.- Commitment to continuous learning and improvement.Benefits:Competitive salary, Private Health insurance, 25 Days annual leave + bank holidays, Flexible working.Opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.Supportive team culture and opportunities for professional growth.
