About the JobProspero Health & Social Care are looking for a Residential Child Support Worker to fill a temp-to-perm position in the Taunton area.Our clients aim is to assist in the provision of a happy, healthy and safe home environment, helping young people achieve their full potential and strengthen their areas of weakness. The home in Taunton is a lovely 3 bed residential childrens home, currently being occupied by two children.Your role as a Residential Child Support Worker will be to promote, safeguard and protect the welfare of each individual, to encourage their development and attitudes towards life. For their sense of security, it is essential that you establish and maintain a trusting and positive relationship with each young person. You will be assisting in preparation of meals, organising and participating in group activities and being there for each child.We are looking for support workers who are committed to providing the highest standard of care to individuals. The successful candidates will have experience of working with children with additional needs, and will be comfortable dealing with challenging behaviour.Support Worker Contract/Position Details:
