With wide ranging private and corporate clients ranging from sub audit threshold turnover clients, through to large corporate groups clients you will have exposure to highquality work and clients. On the personal tax side the firm acts for wide private clients to include HNWIs, directors, property related clients and other wide ranging individuals with complex compliance and planning requirements. The firm provides the backingand support of a highly regarded team to support you with clear career development paths and appraisal systems in place to help people achieve their career goals.DescriptionJoining as a Qualified Tax Accountant based in the firms Taunton offices you will still maintain involvement the delivery of year end accounts but with increasing exposure to mixed tax across both corporate and personal tax compliance alongside the potentialto work with management and the senior team on advisory and planning project work as you develop within the firm and role. The work will involve both the preparation and review of personal and corporation tax returns and as you develop within the firm roleyou will work with the team on planning and tax advisory work, undertaking wider tax technical research for wider tax planning projects which could cover R&D, M&A related corporate tax work, EIS and other corporate tax related tax planning. On the personaltax side there could be scope for involvement with IHT, Trust work and other related private client planning with the potential to mould the work to some degree around areas of interest and preferences. You will be encouraged to develop technically and supportedby a highly experienced team of tax professionals around you.ProfileYou may be ACA/ACCA qualified, with the potential for further study on offer for CTA. Most importantly you will have a career background developed within accountancy practice so far. You may have specialised in tax so far in your career across either mixedtax, or focused in personal or corporate tax. Alternatively, you may initially have developed a mixed year end accounts/audit/tax/ role in your career but have a genuine and demonstrable interest in developing your tax career moving forward.
