Product Development Project Engineer - Wellington Somerset - Permanent We are recruiting on behalf of our client a Product Development Project Engineer to work within their small product development and engineering team. Hours of Work: 39 hours per week Monday to Thursday 7.30am - 4.30pm, Fridays 7.30am - 12.30pm. All hours are based in the office. Salary : £27,500 per annum.Job Role: This is predominately an admin based role, working within a small team developing new and existing products. Co-ordinating and controlling projects from conception to postproduction, working to deadlines and within costings.Main Duties:* Plan and revaluate all stages of each project within the new product introduction and AQP systems using control plans and FMEA. * Use SolidWorks CAD system to produce 3D Models, drawings and design tooling. * Liaising with production and all other stakeholders to ensure viability of the products. * Ensuring the product meets the customers specification and the company internal quality standards. * working knowledge of the relevant quality and environmental procedures. * Costing the products and projects throughout the duration. * Attend onsite client meetings. * Assist with the production testing.Acorn by Synergie acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment.
