Job Description

Competitive Salary | Flexible Benefits Package | Taunton We are currently looking for an experienced Paraplanner to join a busy financial planning team at their Taunton office.As a Paraplanner you will be part of the Paraplanning team, researching, preparing, and writing a wide range of reports within given timescales. Youll maintain excellent service to our existing clients and provide overall support for the Consultants.This role offers Hybrid working 3 days in the Taunton Office and 2 days working from homeParaplanner responsibilities include: -

  • Research and technical work to support Consultants and Administrators
  • Compilation of client reports for Investments, Pensions, SIPP/SSAS, Trusts and Long-Term Care
  • Fully utilise Intelligent Office system and update all client information as necessary
  • Development and maintenance of standard reports and letters
Paraplanner requirements include: -
  • Dip PFS or equivalent
  • Ideally at least 2-3 years of previous experience in a similar role
  • Great communication skills, and the ability to work within a team
  • A sound knowledge of investments, pensions, IHT and centralised investment propositions, also sound knowledge of Trusts
  • Confidence in using the following tools/systems: Iinsoftware. Intelligent Office client database system, FE Analytics and Selectapension, Voyant and Cashcalc
Package:
  • Holiday 25 days plus 8 Bank Holidays 1st May to 30th April. Where you have been employed by the Firm for five complete years, from your sixth year of employment, you will be entitled to one extra days holiday for every subsequent year of service completedup to a maximum of five extra days leave after ten complete years service.
  • Can carry over up to 5 days holiday into next year automatically
  • Closed between Christmas and New Year (3 days holiday)
  • Annual salary review
  • Sick pay SSP plus company sick pay at firms discretion
  • Payment of any professional subscriptions or accreditations relevant to your role
  • Fund your training circa £5k - 8k per year and depending on qualification might give paid time off e.g., ACA, some AAT
