You will be joining a small, friendly and longstanding team.They are seeking an organised and efficient Office Manager to join their team and contribute to the overall success of the company.THE ROLE: You will be a detail-oriented Office Manager to oversee the daily administrative operations of the office. You will be responsible for managing office procedures, ensuring organisational effectiveness, and creating a positive andproductive work environment. You will play a crucial role in supporting the engineering team and foster a collaborative atmosphere within the company.KEY DUTIES:

  • Negotiating prices with suppliers and customers
  • Taking responsibility of the production schedule
  • Ordering parts and materials
  • Putting together customer quotations
  • Dealings with customer queries effectively and efficiently
  • Team meetings
  • HR Administration including pay reviews, 121s, monitoring holiday and sickness
  • Processing invoices
  • Health & safety
  • Telephone and email correspondence with customers and suppliers
  • Preparing for quality audits
  • Ensuring the office runs smoothly and efficiently
THE CANDIDATE:
  • You will often work alone in the office whilst the team are on the shop floor, therefore, being self-motivated and proactive is key to this role.
  • Ability to work to deadlines and manage a varied workload.
  • Fantastic organisation skills and exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office, mainly Excel.
  • Previous experience of working with Xero would be beneficial.
  • The ability to manage a small, established, self-sufficient team.
