Farm Shop Manager / Deli manager Taunton £30k 40-45 hours per week 5 days a weekMy client is looking to recruit a dynamic Farm Shop manager / Deli Manger for their successful site based near Taunton. The successful Delicatessen manager/ Farm Shop Manager will be fully responsible for managing cheese, meats, bread, fresh deli counter dessertsand slices as well as cooking home-made pastries and managing all the shops ambient products. You will understand these products (the making, keeping, weights and measures, wrapping, dating, shelf-life, allergens, ingredients display, pricing, record keepingetc, etc) and know how to look after them and sell them.Role: oBe responsible for every element of the shops functions oBe a great team leader with a wealth of hands-on fresh food management oHave a passion for real quality in cheese, bread, meats and all other products oBe organised and great at managing your time oHave lots of ideas and imagination oBe aware of customer trends and what our competitors are doingYou will be on a seven-day rota, including weekends and Bank Holidays, but you wont have to work on Christmas Day, Boxing day or New Years Day, when we are closed.You will be responsible for overseeing COSHH, HACCP and health and safety in the shop, maintaining supplier relationships and ensuring high standards in all that we do. You will be trained to add and delete stock via our KPOS and SAGE accounting systems, managingproduct information through these systems to generate customer information, including allergens.Benefits: The successful person will earn a salary of circa £30k plus benefits including ·On site free parking ·50% discount on our ciders ·Substantially discounted meals on duty ·20% staff discount on shop products and meals with a family member or friend (no more than one guest). ·Enrolment in a pension scheme with Royal London after a period of three months employment.This role may suit a Farm shop Manger, Fresh food manager.
