Summary Weve got an exciting opportunity for a Welcome & Service Assistant Manager to join our team at Cliveden. Youll be responsible for helping the team to deliver excellent service, and a professional welcome to every visitor, every day. Youll ensure yourteam are informative, engaging and know how to promote our membership, helping us deliver our challenging membership targets.Fixed term contract from March 27th 2023 to April 1st 2025. What its like to work here Clivedens Italianate mansion, riverside setting and family-friendly events draw visitors all year round, making this property a busy location with a wide range of opportunities. There is always plenty to do at the 375-acre estate, with conservation of theSouth Terrace among recent projects. Cliveden team are close-knit with a wonderful sense of community. The location is quiet, so youll need your own transport to get here.There are 3 catering outlets; The Conservatory Caf, The Dolls House and Catering Kiosk for all visitors to enjoy a bit to eat! There are a series of impressive formal gardens with far-reaching views, an abundance of bedding change throughout the seasonsand an intimate Rose Garden for those wanting a little bit of peace and tranquility. Click here for more information about this location What youll be doing Visitors are a vital part of what we do. As a charity, every penny we raise goes back into our continued conservation of our places and spaces. As the Assistant manager for the Welcome & Service team, youll lead by example, seizing all opportunities togrow our income at the visitor welcome, from promoting the benefits of our membership, to gift aid and direct debit schemes. Youll work with the Welcome team manager to help the team achieve membership targets, as well as delivering your own.Youll help coach and motivate the team to ensure a high standard of customer service. Youll be responsible for the presentation of the visitor reception and making sure the team is always aware of whats happening at the property that your visitors canenjoy. As a team, youll tell your visitors about the amazing work we do and what their money is funding. Who were looking for Wed love to hear from you if you have:

• Good practical experience in visitor business, tourist, heritage or relevant visitor services environment.
• Excellent organisation skills
• Previous experience supervising/managing teams
• Proven record of delivering exceptional customer service
• Confident leader, adaptable and responsive under pressure
• Ability to initiate service recovery without senior support
• Good IT skills
