Job Description

SQL Administrator Glasgow (Hybrid working)£45- £55, 000 My Glasgow based client are looking to hire a SQL administrator, you will design database activity and file usage in a complex data structure, builds for operations to ensure high quality performance of databases post implementation by considering informationalneeds and elements, data relationships and attributes, proposed manipulation, data flow and storage requirements, and data output and reporting capabilities for more complex databases. You will recommend and implement tuning opportunities to improve systemresponse and run times. Ideally you will have previous experience as project leader. You will work on the portfolio of databases, including installations and upgrades of DBMS software and backup/recovery strategies. the successful candidate will review andapprove application and database design decisions to ensure that application solutions exhibit high levels of performance, security, scalability, maintainability, and reliability upon deployment.

SQL Server 2008R2 - 2022, Transact SQL Processing Language, Stored Procedure Development, and Configuration and Security Maintenance.
Good programming skills for database
Project delivery experience
Reporting Services
Data Warehousing
Solid problem solving skills

It would be advantageous if you had worked in a agile/scrum or devops environment.Candidates should possess at least Disclosure Scotland / BPSS clearance or be willing to undertake appropriate security vetting to achieve.
