So are our people.We regularly win Great Place to Work awards globally and are very proud to have been placed on the Times Top 100 Best Companies to Work For list in the UK by our employees for the past 10 years.Hilti offers the best of both worlds – friendly teams locally and roles across the UK combined with the opportunities only a company of 30,000 people spread across 120 countries can bring.What does the role involveAs the Repair Technician you will:Carry out all repairs and services referring to valid guidelines, thus fulfilling the request of customer regarding quality, quantity, repair cycle time and costs.Make judgments on machines and tools based from the guarantee guidelines.Provide cost effective quotes for the customer on chargeable tools.Assess quality problems and put to records, as reference for further improvement.Provide innovative ideas for continual business improvement - addressing cost, productivity, quality, hygiene and safety, people, and environment.Take responsibilities and ownership of the work benches and hand toolsEnsure good housekeeping in workshop.Ensure that spare parts are organized, replenished and managed in repair groups.Performance of quality and electrical safety tests (where applicable) on each tool according to Hilti guidelines.Ensure safety procedures are followed at all timesWhat do we offerShow us what you’re made of and we’ll offer you opportunities to move around the business – to work abroad, experience different job functions and tackle different markets.
