Job Description

Bennett and Game seek a talented Structural Technician to join our clients Design Team in Tamworth, Staffordshire. In this role, you will utilise Revit to create 3D models and generate 2D GAs directly from the model. Your responsibilities will includealigning all models and drawings with project quotations, scopes, and deliverables, while adhering to our clients specifications.Youll collaborate closely with Architects, Design Managers, and other client team members to address technical aspects of your work. Its essential to work within project timelines and budgets, providing regular progress updates to senior or lead technicians.All design activities must comply with company procedures and be delivered digitally. Structural Technician Position Overview
  • Develop a solid grasp of the project objectives and identify opportunities to provide and implement the best solutions.
  • Maintain clear and effective communication internally and externally.
  • Monitor daily tasks and outputs, reporting as needed.
  • Aid in task prioritization as required.
Structural Technician Position Requirements
  • Minimum of 3 to 4 years of relevant experience required.
  • Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, or similar software necessary to create precise and detailed models and drawings.
  • Ability to interpret drawings and utilize information effectively to produce suitable models and drawings.
  • Comfortable working independently as well as part of a team to fulfill design requirements.
  • Effective communication skills for internal and external collaboration to gather necessary information.
  • Understanding of best practices and ability to acquire information to complete tasks efficiently.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to perform self-checks on work.
  • Demonstrated track record of delivering information in accordance with specifications and control documents.
  • Time management skills essential for meeting design output deadlines.
  • Familiarity with and understanding of BIM concepts preferred.
