The Role:Optima are looking for a skilled Quality Technician to join our Precision Manufacturing client based in Tamworth. The successful candidate will be responsible for programming, Evaluation and Operation of CMMs (QCT / Mitutoyo Software & Desirable State ofthe art Gear measuring Machine.Candidates check list:
  • Programming and Use of Coordinate Measuring Machines (QCT and Mitutoyo software).
  • Experience of AS9100 Rev D, ISO9001: 2015 & ISO17025: 2017.
  • Working with First Article Reporting methods (Aerospace and Automotive).
  • Utilise the business ERP/MRP system.
  • Experience of CMM programming & State of the art Gear Measuring Machine measuring
  • Experience working with Aerospace / Automotive OEMs
  • Working within a team of 7 quality related personnel.
  • Can produce FAIRs to the requirements of AS9102 and PPAPs (Levels 1, 2, 3, 4, or 5)
  • Good organisational skills.
  • Team player.
