Job Description

Senior IT Systems Engineer - Tamworth (On-site) - £55,000 + BenefitsHyper-V, Azure, Office 365, Windows Sever, Exchange, Intune, Project role, Networking, VPN, FirewallAzure, Hyper-V, Active Directory, LAN/WAN, Routers, Switches, Infrastructure, O365, VPNWe are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Senior IT Systems Engineer with a focus on third-line infrastructure for an international company located near Tamworth. This role offers an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the organizationstransition from on-premise to Cloud, contributing to the growth of a greenfield estate.Responsibilities:

  • Day-to-day administration, support, and troubleshooting of the Infrastructure environment in a dynamic, high-volume environment with multiple configurations
  • Designing, implementing, and managing a Hyper-V environment
  • Active Directory management (Azure AD)
  • HP Server management
  • General O365 support
  • Virtualization experience with Hyper-V (preferably or VMware)
  • On-premise to Azure cloud migration projects
  • Basic networking understanding (routing, switching, LAN, WAN, etc. preferably with RUCKUS)
  • Server and desktop troubleshooting
  • Taking the lead on projects with a positive and can-do attitude
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills Requirements:
  • Significant, demonstrable experience as a 3rd line Engineer
  • Previous experience in a greenfield environment is advantageous
  • Certification in CCNA or MCSE is a plus
This position would suit someone who has worked in a legacy estate and supported in Cloud transition.
