Job Description

This position offers the opportunity to modernise and add real value to the finance function. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and improving the financial reporting process, ensuring transparency and compliance with industry andregulatory standards.Client DetailsOur client is a leading player in their specified industry known for their emphasis on high-quality products and exceptional customer service, this ambitious organisation would like to add a technically minded accountant to their ranks.Description

  • Oversee the preparation of financial reports and statements.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and standards.
  • Prepare statutory accounts for all legal entities.
  • Collaborate with the FP&A Team.
  • Work with auditors and tax consultants for the group.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to senior management based on financial data.
  • Implement and maintain financial reporting systems and processes.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure accuracy of financial data.
  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.
Profile
  • Big 4 trained qualified ACA, ACCA accountant.
  • Extensive knowledge of UK GAAP, US GAAP and SOX.
  • Excellent analytical and Excel skills.
  • Strong written & verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently, use initiative and meet deadlines.
