Job Description

Client Funds Accounts AssistantBased in our Tamworth officeThe role would suit a junior level applicant who is willing to learn and potentially make use of the fantastic training packages offered by Gallagher Bassett.Key Responsibilities:Working within the finance team, to carry out the following tasks/duties:Client Fund AccountingMaintenance of Client Funds including:o Banking of Client Fund Receiptso Allocating Claims Paymentso Maintaining the Client fund Cashbooko Stopping cheques on Barclays Imagepay and Iportalo Banking and processing Recoverieso Preparation and issue of invoices to Clientso Maintaining the Client Fund Invoice Registero Preparing Claims Listings for clients in order to support requests for Fundso Reconciling Client accountso Inputting payments onto the bank.Maintenanceo Filingo Ad-hoc dutiesSkills Required:

  • Ability to prioritise and organise own workload to ensure that deadlines are adhered to.
  • Ability to work under pressure and without supervision.
  • Ability to liaise with colleagues when appropriate.
  • Ability to develop and sustain relationships with both internal and external customers.
  • Ability to construct effective written communications, including letters and reports.
  • Capable and confident written English skills.
  • Confident and effective telephone skills.
  • Confident numeracy skills.
  • Full training in the role will be provided, with regular on-going training, reinforced by progress towards professional qualifications.
