Job Description

Role – Assembly FitterType – PermanentLocation – TamworthSalary - £27,000 - £32,000, dependant on experienceMy client designs and manufactures a variety of specialist products for numerous sectors. They are looking for an Assembly Fitter to join their team in Tamworth on a permanent basis.The Assembly Fitter will ideally have the following attributes:

  • A background in Manufacture would be beneficial
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
  • Team player
  • Eager to train and develop their career in Engineering/Manufacture
Experienced in;
  • Undertaking general electro-mechanical assembly or finishing operations
  • Wiring control panel and pneumatic installations (Desirable but not necessary)
  • Mechanical fitting
  • Manual Handling
  • Having a Fork Truck License is desirable, but also not necessary.
The Assembly Fitter role will involve:
  • Mechanical fitting and assembly of parts, sub-assemblies and finished machine
  • Plastic Parts manufacture
  • Self inspection of finished items using laid down methodology.
  • Finishing and Packaging of finished machines
  • Control Panel Assembly and Wiring.
  • Wiring of chamber
  • Testing of chamber using instructions provided.
