Job Description

Principal Resourcing are working in partnership with a school based in Leeds to appoint a Year 5/6 Teacher for a long-term supply role. The role is due to start after the Easter holidays and will run until the Summer.The school based in the Tadcaster area has a positive reputation within the local area, boasting well-behaved students and a dedicated team of teachers and support, children are at the heart of everything they do. The successful candidate must be a livelyand imaginative individual who can engage pupils of all abilities.NQTs are welcome to apply for this post. You will be paid up to £180 depending upon your experience and previous pay scale.Within the role you will be required to:

  • Have good classroom control and be able to follow the schools behaviour policy
  • Teach, plan and prepare lessons that will engage and enthuse learners
  • Have a commitment to develop the personalities, talents and abilities of all students
  • Display an enthusiasm to learn and develop professionally
  • Have a willingness and enthusiasm to commit to the expectations of the role and desire to contribute to extra-curricular responsibilities
What you require:
  • Relevant qualifications - QTS (Teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert. Ed etc.) or equivalent
  • A proactive team member, committed to raising standards and achievement
  • A DBS registered with the Update Service or willing to obtain one
