Job Description

A fantastic new Management Accountant vacancy has arisen with one of our prestigious clients in Tadcaster working on a hybrid basis (2 days from home.) This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to gain exposure at a company thatis a leader in their field of work. They are seeking an experienced and professional Accountant with a logical mindset who would like to play a key role in the strategic growth of the business. Our client is offering the opportunity for study support for theright individual.As Management Accountant your duties will include:

  • You will maintain appropriate controls over all billing and credit control processes
  • Preparing the period end accounts.
  • Be responsible for calculating customer pricing and completing commercial analysis.
  • Assisting in setting annual budgets and forecasts.
  • Ensuring that all customer invoices are completed in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Be responsible for customer charges, accounting, and reporting.
  • Supporting the finance and supply chain team as required.
  • Assist with growth and profitability within the company by analysing financial information.
  • Provide support within key decision making by implementing accurate management reporting.
  • Be required to provide journals for the monthly and yearly deadlines.
  • Ensure conformity is met for all financial rules.
Experience Required:
  • Have completed AAT or to be part qualified (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) or qualified by experience.
  • You will have high attention to detail and excellent numeracy skills.
  • Be proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel.
  • You will be confident in communicating both internally and externally.
  • You will be organised and self-motivated, being able to plan and work independently and have good time management skills.
  • You will be an active team player.
As the successful Management Accountant you will be rewarded with a basic salary of £34,500 - £39,500 depending on experience, this is inclusive of pensionable salary and quarterly incentive. On top of this you will have the opportunity to work in a friendlyand rewarding environment for a company that is at the top of their game.
