Job Description

Thanks to an army of almost 90,000 units across the UK they are a business that has thrived through the pandemic and are going througha period of restructure and change to compliment the business needs and requirements.What does the role involve

  • The Key focus of the Head of HR is to work with the SLT in shaping and delivering a forward-thinking culture that builds on our clients existing cultural strengths and fits with the companys future growth strategy - all of which is underpinned by engagingand unleashing the potential of their key asset - people!
  • We are looking for an experienced HR generalist who can provide the full range of operational HR support. This will include providing support and guidance on ER, Recruitment, Communications and Engagement, Performance Management, Engagement and Reward,payroll management, robust administrative and payroll processes.
  • This is a true generalist role; you must be able to demonstrate your ability to partner and coach leaders to develop and drive a people centric, high- performance culture, looking for continuous improvements in the way HR supports the business.
  • The Head of HR will develop a collaborative but comprehensive approach alongside line managers to seek a resolution to complex employment law issues, employee relations, resourcing and people development.
  • The successful candidate will ensure the HR Team are delivering a consistent and effective employee lifecycle process which allows for the efficient on-boarding of new starters, engagement and development opportunities during their employment and a smoothon and off boarding process with a meaningful exit interview and review where required.
  • You will represent HR workstreams for projects and compliance providing HR expertise for these activities including the support of BSI compliance ISO 45001 and ISO 14001.
What qualities will you need to be successful
  • A proven track record as a HR Generalist across all aspects of HR Management including employee relations, resourcing, talent management/succession planning, change management, payroll management and process management within a fast paced ever evolvingculture and business ideally with experience in hospitality, leisure, or retail environments.
  • The successful candidate must have strong organisational skills, with a high level of attention to detail & love working in an extremely collaborative environment.
  • We are looking for a passionate people person" who understands and can thrive in a fast-paced business that is prepared to go above and beyond the job specification to be successful!
  • The Head of HR must be commercially strong, with excellent interpersonal, communications and presentation skills & the ability to engage and lead people at all levels.
  • The Head of HR will be excited & crave the autonomy that comes with working in a small, socially, growing, socially minded business.
  • We are looking for a real self-starter who is happy to get stuck in and has an authentic hands-on approach with a can-do attitude
  • As the Head of HR you will be curious and have the experience & ability to drive and grow a people function
  • Ideally you will be CIPD qualified and have an understanding of BSI Compliance ISO 45001 and 14001
