Job Description

As a Deputy Manager of an award-winning domiciliary care agency, youll be supporting the registered manager and team to deliver high-quality, customer-focused care services to vulnerable adults in their own homes. Were looking for a positive, caring andmotivational individual, with a background in homecare. Ideally, youll have supervisory / management experience as were looking to recruit an ambitious individual wholl be able to develop and progress their career within this organisation which is rapidlygrowing. Also on offer is an attractive salary of £24,000 - £28,000.The Deputy Manager role

  • Recruitment - Ensuring a steady stream of caring, friendly, and hardworking care staff are recruited, vetted, trained, and mentored into the workforce.
  • Quality - Spot checks, audits, competency checks
  • Operational Management - Supervision and management of the care staff, ensure that the day-to-day running of the service is effective and deputise in the absence of the manager.
  • Rotas - Ensuring that the rota is effective and filling in gaps
What were looking for;
  • Experience in domiciliary care/ home care. Youll need to understand the complexities of running a remote service in the care sector.
  • Supervisory or management experience - Ideally youll have been a deputy manager, care manager, Team leader or similar previously within homecare but we will consider other experience. For example you may have worked as a carer in homecare but have retailmanagement experience too.
  • Qualification s- Ideally QCF level 3 or above in Health and Social care
  • Attitude - Were looking for happy, positive people who have great communication skills with clients staff and management.
  • IT literate - able to pick up software programs easily.
