Job Description

Quality Manager£45-52kWarwick*** An immediate start is available ***The Quality Manager will take responsibility for the Quality function and will lead proactive improvement programs focusing on quality and systems.This will include leading on the development of a programme to effectively deliver and embed preventative systems within the companys routine business activities.The ideal Quality Managerwill have:

  • Quality management experience within the automotive sector
  • Lead Auditor experience
  • Experienced People Manager
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and IATF 16949
  • Ability to drive fast response, root cause analysis and problem-solving solutions
  • Understanding of implementing Quality System Requirements in new product development
  • Knowledge of Regulator Compliance Platforms, i.e. EU RoHS, EU REACH, TSCA-PBT, CA Prop 65, SCIP and Conflict Minerals
The Quality Managerwill be responsible for:
  • Continuously review the companys approach to quality systems
  • Perform a continuous gap analysis of business practices in line with the requirements of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and IATF 16949 management system standards
  • Develop a programme to deliver changes in culture, systems and practices to effectively embed quality in routine business activities
  • Coordinate the training of individuals and teams in quality systems
  • Champion the adoption of a problem-solving approach
  • Establishes and maintains the Quality Management System (QMS) and Environmental Management System (EMS) to meet ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 requirements
  • Leads Material Review Board (MRB), initiates requests for, and follows up on corrective actions
  • Leads First Article Inspection review & approval process for new and revised parts entering the facility
  • Coordinate activities related to the quality improvement programme including the review process, and programme development and implementation
  • Facilitate quality support of customers when required, including effective hosting of audits, responding to requests for information, and overseeing the handling of complaints
This role will suit an experienced Quality professional from an automotive background who will relish the opportunity to lead on the quality improvements and standards for the organisation.
