Please Note: Applicants must be authorised to work in the UKOur client is a Managed IT Service Provider to schools across England and Wales, looking for a Purchaser and Scheduling Assistant to play a crucial role in the business.The company offers full support with opportunities to learn and further your career.About the role:As the Purchaser and Scheduling Assistant, you will be responsible for developing strong relationships with suppliers to obtain the best pricing for clients. You will also be responsible for scheduling jobs with customers and liaising with onsite teams toensure that all work is completed on time and to the high standards that our client pride themselves on.Key responsibilities will include:
  • Developing strong relationships with suppliers to obtain the best pricing for our clients
  • Scheduling jobs with customers and liaising with onsite teams to ensure that all work is completed on time and to a high standard
  • Processing purchase orders, ensuring that all orders are accurate and delivered on time
  • Maintaining accurate records of all purchasing and scheduling activities
  • Working closely with the accounts team to ensure that all invoices are processed in a timely manner
  • Assisting in the development and implementation of purchasing and scheduling procedures
The ideal candidate:
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Proactive in approach
