Job Description

Proactive HSEQ Advisor needed to assist a building contractor on Civil Engineering and RC projects in Norwich.The HSEQ Advisor The successful HSEQ Advisor will be required to ensure all allocated sites are visited every 7 days.Alongside this, the HSEQ Advisor will also be:

  • Assist and advise on the formulation of HSEQ Management Plans, Method Statements, Risk, Noise and Manual Handling Assessments
  • Assist Site Managers and/or General Forepersons carry out weekly site inspections to ensure that early safe methods of working and environmental good practice are in operation and that all Regulations and Company Policy is being observed
  • Assist with the identification of potential hazards on new contracts before commencement and liaise with Contractors and Site Managers
  • Support and advise all employees with regards to best practice regarding HSEQ
  • Assist the Lead HSEQ in reviewing company HSEQ Procedures
  • Keep record of all injuries and incidents during company operations
  • Assist in training employees and assisting HSEQ in developing and maintaining a training programme
  • Liaise with authorities and professional bodies
  • Understand and promote incident prevention and damage control
  • Quarterly report for incidents, dangerous occurrences, enforcing authority visits, training and environmental compliance
  • Attending meetings with Senior and Site Management when required to discuss H&S
  • Compliance with HSEQ standards, and ensure you are up to date with current legislation
To be considered for this role you must have…
  • Driving license
  • CSCS Card
  • NEBOSH or IOSH
  • Proficient in microsoft 365
  • Aconex / BIM 360
  • Minimum 5 years experience
