Seven Nursing is looking for a qualified Midwife in the Swansea, Wales area.This post offers a competitive rate of pay from £30 up to £50 P/H.The appointed Midwife will be responsible for providing high-quality care to expectant mothers and their babies during both the antenatal and postnatal periods. This includes health education, conducting screenings, providing necessary support during labour,and ensuring the mother and baby are safe and healthy after the birth.Responsibilities:1. Providing comprehensive antenatal care, including assisting in birth planning and preparing parents-to-be for parenthood through education and health promotion.2. Assisting during labour and birth, providing both physical and emotional support.3. Offering postnatal support, including breastfeeding assistance and newborn care education.4. Monitoring the physical and mental health of mothers and acting on any complications.5. Conducting necessary examinations and screening tests.6. Recording accurate notes and ensuring relevant information is passed on to the necessary healthcare professionals.7. Ensuring that care is family-centred and culturally sensitive.8. Liaising effectively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure that women receive a high standard of care.9. Understanding the policies and procedures relevant to midwifery and upholding these at all times.Qualifications:1. Valid registration with the Nursing & Midwifery Council (NMC).2. Experience as a certified Midwife.3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.4. Ability to handle stressful situations and make important decisions under pressure.5. Excellent problem-solving skills and a compassionate approach towards patients.6.
