Job Description

Senior Technical Program ManagerHybrid - £100,000 - £120,000 per annumSouth WalesEcommerceYolk Recruitment are looking for an experienced, customer obsessed Senior Technical Program Manager who wants to manage cross-functional and cross-organization efforts from the early stages through release.Our client helps high-growth ecommerce businesses build a slick inventory and fulfilment operation that means the right products get to the right customers at the right time, every time.They plug into all the major sales channels and shipping carriers, allowing businesses to manage orders, inventory, picking and packing, shipping, purchasing, reporting and more - all in one platform. Its an ecommerce super software that is making ecommercefulfilment dramatically more efficient.You will report directly to the CTO, and collaborate closely with our talented software engineers, program managers, UX designers, as well as product and tech stakeholders across the company. You will guide the overall technical vision and deliver solutions that meet our high standards for customer experience and operational excellence. This role is a good fit for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, is both creative and technical, and who wants to work near the beautiful beaches of Swansea, Wales.You must have:

  • 5+ years of experience working directly with engineering teams
  • Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules
  • Experience building processes, project management, and release schedules for Agile development teams
  • Able to work in a diverse team
  • Strength in problem solving; high attention to detail
  • Demonstrated ability to understand and discuss technical concepts, manage trade-offs and evaluate new ideas
  • Demonstrated ability to work across functional disciplines to deliver online products/services
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field
  • An understanding of the order fulfilment process for online sellers
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Economics, Mathematics or related field or equivalent experience.
  • 10+ years of experience managing complex technology projects
  • Experience with Supply Chain Management
  • Experience on defining industry technical standards
