Job Description

React Developer

  • Location: Swansea, UK
  • Job Type: Full-time - Hybrid - 3 Days Per Week
  • Salary Up To - £65,000
As a React Developer, you will be developing cutting-edge software solutions on aplatform which is designed to improve operator response times and automate manual processes. This role is ideal for an experienced full-stack developer who is ready to engageclosely with customers and contribute to all stages of the development cycle. Day to Day of the Role:
  • Design and develop software solutions based on user stories, ensuring they meet our development standards and include appropriate automated testing.
  • Break down user stories into technical tasks and provide accurate timelines for deliverables.
  • Understand the impact of updates on the existing system and ensure clarity for implementation by any developer.
  • Review tasks by other developers and advise on best practices.
  • Actively participate in the DevOps process and team meetings, including refining user requirements with stakeholders.
  • Produce and comprehend technical documentation.
  • Identify areas where additional support is needed and provide mentorship to improve development processes.
  • Lead in resolving organisational issues and conduct workshops to teach best practices in React.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • 6+ years of commercial development experience, with extensive experience in building web applications in React.
  • Proficiency in React, JavaScript, Azure DevOps/VSTS, source control (GIT/TFS/Other), CSS, and HTML5.
  • Degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
Skills We’d Love:
  • Experience with Micro Frontends, Vue.js, TypeScript, Agile methodologies, C#, .NET Core, and SQL.
Above & Beyond:
  • Knowledge of Non-SQL DB, Kanban, ASP.NET, and CI/CD practices.
